Ladies and gentlemen,

We recognize a leader who has fought every step of this journey for protection of residents of Alsip.  As a Sergeant, He has shown strength, integrity, and a steady commitment to the people of Alsip.

This promotion to Lieutenant isn’t just a new title — it’s a reflection of the trust this department and this community place in him. It’s a recognition of his judgment in difficult moments, his calm in uncertainty, and his dedication to doing what’s right even when no one is watching.

This department is honored to have him in this new role. The officers who follow Lt. Puente will look to him for guidance, and the community will look to you for reassurance.

Congratulations, Lieutenant Puente. Your service has made Alsip stronger, and your leadership will continue to shape this department for years to come.
