- Graduated with bachelor’s degree from Governor’s State University with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Addiction Studies
- Was hired in April 2000 so coming up on 26 years
- Spent entire time in Patrol Division as a Patrolman and Evidence Technician
- Received the following awards: Life Saving Award; Meritorious Service Award; Medal of Valor Award; Leadership Award
- Graduated Northwestern School of Police Staff
