New FREE Mental Health Service Now Available to the Alsip Community

COVID-19 sparked a 25% increase in anxiety and depression worldwide – and as more Alsipians struggle with mental health, we’re here to help.

You now have immediate access to mental health professionals 24/7 as part of a new partnership with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office Treatment Response Team. And it’s all at zero cost to you.

“We’ve seen nearly a 40 percent increase in calls related to mental health this past year,” said Alsip Police Chief Jay Miller. “A lot of people are going through tough times, and we hope this dedicated program provides the support they need.”

Whether you’re struggling with substance use or other mental health needs, this program is for you. You can access these services by talking to one of our Alsip officers or the Treatment Response Team from the comfort of your home.
