The Alsip Police Department received accreditation by the independent authoritative Illina ois Law Enforcement Council in April 2022. That means we upheld specific quality criteria and high professional standards in administration, operations, personnel, and training.
Alsip is one of just 57 police departments in Illinois to receive accreditation.
The accreditation process included multiple days of ILEAP review of our department, tours, vehicle inspections, interviews, ride-alongs, and more.
